Our fourth day in Dublin consisted of a lot free time and so I used the time for seeing some places I did not visited before such as the “Custom House” or the “Famine Memorial”.
I also went shopping and so I bought some gifts for my parents in a very funny looking store. The store was completely green decorated and there you could buy many items with typical Irish pictures, cities, sights and so on. After that, I went to a sport store and there I bought a hoodie for myself. My parents wanted to get a post card and so I went to the Dublin Post Office and send off two post cards, one for my parents and one for my grandma. The post cards needed four days for delivering, but the excitement of my family was incredible, because they thought I forgot to send off post cards.
We met us some minutes before 1 o’clock near the B&B to get to the Connolly train station, because we were going to visit the “Google Office Dublin”. There we could see some stunning buildings. The “Google Office” is amazing, it is colourful, it is filled with free time activities (such as billiard, swings on the roof and more) and it is huge. We were split in groups and then we had a very interesting tour inside the office. After the tour, we went to a small room and there we could ask some questions to employees and it was an enjoyable and educational stay there.
After visiting the “Google Office Dublin”, we had free time again and so I walked with some mates to a vintage store, because one was interested in seeing such a store. Some minutes later we went to the “O'Shea's Hotel & Bar” and there we ordered “Homemade Beef”, but unfortunately we got a “Guinness Steak with vegetable Pie”. It was not that bad, because the steak was very delicious.
We wanted to see an “Irish greyhound racing”, but unfortunately the racing was cancelled and so we went back to the B&B guesthouse.
