We had to get up early today, because we went by bus to the other side of Ireland, just to visit the Cliffs of Moher. We went there with a very kind and smart coach driver. He told us some very interesting and fascinating stories about Ireland and his life.
At Barack Obama Plaza, we had a small break to buy something to eat or to drink. Obama Plaza was a very cool looking roadhouse, because inside you could see a cardboard statue of Obama and his wife.
Later we arrived near the cliffs so round about 12 o’clock. There we had some free time where we could explore the cliffs of our own. The Cliffs of Moher are very special and significant and staggering. It was an amazing and pleasant stay there and I can highly recommend the Cliffs of Moher to all of you, because it was such a cool experience. After taking many pictures, we went back to the coach and after that to a place, where we could eat something. I did not have that much hunger, so I only bought a delicious ice cream.
Subsequently we had appeased our hunger and thirst. We visited another awesome area called “The Burren”. Unfortunately, our stay was a bit too short there but you had an amazing view over the ocean and natural stone slabs – it was just stunning. Then we went to a small city and later on back to Anchor B&B.
Overall, it was one of the best days in Dublin and I am still overwhelmed, how awesome the “Cliffs of Moher” and “The Burren” are.
