Today was the last day in Dublin and so we had to pack our bags very early in the morning.

After breakfast and packing our bags, we went to the “Famine Memorial” and there our teachers told us something about the statues, which was a very interesting story.

Then, we walked to the “Trinity College”, because we got a short tour there. Our guide was a student from the “Trinity College” and she was telling us some facts about the college, the students, the history of the buildings and more. After the tour, we visited the “Old Library” of the college and the awesome “Book of Kells” exhibition. Sadly, we were not authorized to take pictures of the exhibition.

After visiting the college and the library, we had our last free time in Dublin and so I went to a very small bar near the Liffey and then we went back to the guesthouse.

On the other side of the street of the B&B you can find the “Art Coffee” and there I drunk a hot chocolate. Some minutes later, we started to put our things inside a bus to get to the airport. There we had a very fast check-in, but unfortunately, the weather was very bad in Germany and so we had a delayed take-off from 18:15 to 19:20. Then we could start our homeward journey, but it was a very tough flight, because the weather was nasty and awkward. Therefore, the pilot had to fly over Berlin and Poland round about an hour, before he could start the landing. We arrived Berlin Tegel at 22:50 and after that, we had to wait another hour before we got our suitcases, which was a bit annoying.

Overall, our Dublin trip was phenomenal and incredible. I can highly recommend the Dublin trip to everybody, because I had such a good time there. In retrospect, I will visit Dublin and Ireland again.
